Coronavirus update - July 2021 onwards
To protect the safety of our patients and staff the below safety measures are in place inside our hospital:
Wear a face covering - we will provide you with a clinical mask when you arrive at the hospital and we ask that you keep this on for the duration of your visit.
Sanitise or wash your hands regularly - please clean your hands on arrival and regularly throughout your visit using our hand sanitising stations.
Social distancing - please make sure you follow the social distancing signs and directional markers you see around the hospital.
Please come alone - we ask you to come alone to your appointments. Except in exceptional circumstances we are not accepting visitors. This includes visiting relatives or friends who are staying in hospital. Please do not visit the hospital, unless you have an appointment which requires you to attend.
Arrive on time - please arrive at the time of your appointment. Early attendance may mean we ask you to wait outside the hospital until your appointment is due.

The Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital was opened in 1978 with funds raised by the local community. The hospital is now a modern, purpose-built and well-equipped private healthcare facility with 36 en suite bedrooms.
There are two operating theatres and one minor/endoscopy suite, a busy outpatient department and physiotherapy, pathology and diagnostic imaging. It has an excellent reputation for clinical care, expertise and efficient friendly staff.

Following the recent CQC inspection of the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital, Hospital Director Ann Brunt said:
“I welcome the findings of the CQC inspection which rated the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital ‘Good’ overall across Surgery, Outpatients and Diagnostic Imaging. Services were found to be ‘well led, caring and responsive to the needs of patients’.
The CQC highlighted the hospitals integrated approach to safe practice with well-established risk management and quality processes in place. The report also highlights the consistently positive feedback from patients and the hospitals excellent track record on safety.
I am however, disappointed with some of the findings in relation to our surgery service which identified some inconsistencies in practice. We have taken immediate steps to address the areas highlighted in the report.
Patient safety, infection prevention and high quality care are our number one priority and we will continue to focus our efforts to ensure the hospital delivers the highest standards for our patients.
