It’s the first monthly Virtual Online Learning Member’s Only Chat. Having been a member of Virtual Online Learning for over a year now, I find it so rewarding to find so much noncompetitive, drama free learning in one place. As an assistant coordinator, I have been asked to oversee and host a monthly chat meeting. 
After doing the research while at the same time taking into consideration the entire group, I decided on hosting a chat script rather than using a public forum. Once I found the script I wanted to use, it was pretty simple to install thanks to a great how-to video and customize the way I felt would best work for the group. Tonight will tell all as to how effectively it does the job. Virtual Online Learning will be adding a monthly chat meeting on the last Tuesday of the month to the calendar. This will be an informal meeting where we get to know each other a little better, talk of our latest accomplishments, brainstorm, and problem solve, much like the monthly Skype meeting hosted by James Pace, only in chat format only. If two brains are better than one, imagine what 20 or so brains can come up with!
